Chris Hemsworth is back for warrior action, and he’s trading Thor’s hammer for a crossbow and hatchet.

Hemsworth plays Hunstman Eric in “The Huntsman: Winter’s War,” which premieres April 22. He is joined on screen by recurve-wielding Warrior Sarah, played by Jessica Chastain. The prequel tells the story before “Snow White,” and pits Huntsman Eric and Warrior Sara in a battle against the Evil Queen (Charlize Theron) and her sister the Ice Queen (Emily Blunt). As if the all-star cast isn’t impressive enough, the trailer hints at heavy doses of archery.

If you saw Sam Claflin shooting archery as Prince William in 2012’s “Snow White and the Huntsman,” you know the Evil Queen has a dim history with the “mirror on the wall.” This prequel shows us where it all began.

“Your sister holds a baby who will grow to be more beautiful than you,” the mirror taunts. “But beware. Should any harm come to the child, your sister will unleash a power unlike anything the world has ever known.”

Cue: Emily Blunt slaying in all her Ice Queen glory.

Whether the sisters are fighting against or with each other is hard to tell. But here’s what we do know: The Ice Queen is raising a legion of skilled huntsmen, including Huntsman Eric and Warrior Sara.

Are Eric and Sara riding the love train? It sure looks like it! Of course, it helps that they’re the fiercest archers and knife-throwers in their class. “I never miss,” gloats Sara as she nocks a fiery arrow and draws her bow. But what is that gruesome, horned creature?!

Even the sharpest shooting is no match for the Evil Queen’s arrow-stopping grip. “Hello, Huntsman. I’ve missed you,” she jeers while stopping his crossbow-shot arrow midflight. The sentiment is not returned, Evil Queen!

Will Sara and Eric’s archery and combat skills be enough to save the kingdom? Or will their love (Huntsman + Warrior = relationship goals) lead to their demise?

Let’s recap. “The Huntsman: Winter’s War” has archery, swords, romance, comedy, ice palaces and three fierce leading ladies. What more do you need?!
